近日,上海万达瑞华酒店正式任命伊兰高先生为酒店行政总厨。伊兰高先生将以其丰富的专业知识和经验,全面负责上海万达瑞华酒店全日制餐厅美食汇、中餐厅游宴一品淮扬餐厅、和日式料理、瑞酷、大堂酒廊及宴会厨房的日常营运等事务。

来自澳大利亚的伊兰高先生,拥有超过25年的国际酒店工作及管理经验,早期跟随家人迁居至法国,从此开始了他的厨师之旅。他的职业生涯使他走遍了五大洲,足迹遍布澳大利亚,阿联酋,法国,拉斯维加斯,新加坡,日本,中国等高星级酒店,积累了扎实的厨房工作经验并随之开启了个人的职位发展之旅。

伊兰高先生先后就职于澳大利亚凯悦酒店,金奈希尔顿酒店,日本东京四季酒店,新加坡圣淘沙百富大酒店等。履新前,伊兰高先生就职于广州香格里拉大酒店。在他丰富的履历中,成功参与筹开多家五星级酒店餐厅。酒店总经理尼古拉斯·查兹皮特斯表示:非常欢迎伊兰高先生在上海万达瑞华酒店开启全新旅程,相信他将代领团队,迈上新台阶,取得更大的成功。

Recently, Wanda Reign on the Bund officially appointed Mr. Agastya Ilango as the Executive Chef of the hotel. With his rich professional knowledge and experience, Mr. Ilango will be fully responsible for the daily operation of Wanda Reign on the Bund at the all-day dining restaurant – Café Reign, Chinese restaurant River Drunk, HE Japanese Restaurant, Ruiku, Lobby lounge and Banquet Kitchen.

Mr. Ilango, from Australia, has more than 25 years of working and management experience in international hotels. He started his career in Australia in 1996, and then moved to the UAE, Brunei, Singapore, Japan and China and worked in other high-starred hotels. He has accumulated a vast amount of culinary working experience during his personal career development.

Chef Ilango’s culinary tryst began in France, where his grandparents had moved. He would travel to Leon often, where he frequented the restaurant L’aubargu Du Pont de Collonges. It is here that he was introduced to the farm to table concept. He then went on to do his intensive training across kitchens in Europe, an experience that spanned three enriching years. Chef Ilango has experience in managing up to eight F&B outlets at a time and banquet spaces accommodating up to 1400 guests. Through his tenure, he has experimented with various styles of cooking including farm to table (50 mile radius) and also handling a bakery. Chef Ilango first took up the position of Executive Chef at The Empire Hotel and Country Club. He has shown exemplary culinary expertise as well as management skills in the course of his culinary journey.

In his illustrious career, Mr. Ilango has successfully opened a number of five-star hotels and restaurants. Mr. Nikolaos Chatzipetros, General Manager of the hotel, said: “We are pleased to welcome Mr. Ilango to start his new journey in Wanda Reign on the Bund. Located in Shanghai’s historic destination, hotel exterior is designed jointly by Norman Foster and Heatherwick Studio. Designed by Wanda Design Institute, the hotel’s interior has been finely crafted over a period of three years. Combined the “Art Deco” theme and the patterns of old Shanghai, the hotel comprises 190 luxurious rooms and suites.
